this week we had two assignments. the first was to make a still life using adobe illustrator. again i used basic shapes and played around with opacity and the size of the shapes. afterwards we were to make a self portrait using only text. i really enjoyed this assignment. i used the pencil tool to create the shape of my face then i used the text tool to go over the pencil line i made and start typing. i used the size of the text and the boldness of the text to give value to my self portrait.
