our first assignment was to make pictograms. we made two pictograms of famous people and two pictograms portraying what career we would have if the whole art thing were to not work out. i used simple shapes and solid colors to create my pictograms.

once we made our pictograms our next assignment was to make a warning sign. i don't get nearly enough sleep so i tend to sleep at random parts of the day, hence my warning sign, "may fall asleep..." i started with text, then made my body similarly to how i made my other pictograms. finally i made the background by just using a paint brush tool.
